Occupational therapy

The Anders Senior Care Home runs therapeutic activities taking into account the internal needs of each resident, their interests and physical and intellectual abilities. Our specialists coordinate physical activities as well as activities that exercise the psyche, social communication and build bonds between our residents.
The goal of occupational therapy is to prevent the effects of activity limitations and to restore the ability to live an active life. We want our residents to integrate with each other, thus restoring their initiative and will to live.
Occupational therapy is one of the ways of spending time in a useful way for elderly people. Older people have a lot of free time and often do not know what to do with it. A variety of occupational therapy is a proposal for residents not to get bored, to use their desire to learn.
We offer different types of activities from sociotherapy through physical activities to art classes, games and plays.
We try to ensure that our residents actively participate in the activities. By offering them a variety of activities we are sure that they will be eager to participate in them and at the same time their psychophysical condition will improve.
